Winter Has Arrived Winter is definitely here! We are skiing and snowshoeing in 20 plus inches of snow.  The trails are groomed for skate and classical skiing. The downhill skiing is really great and the snowmobilers are out on the trails. It's a winter wonderland up here in the Northland.   The Merchants of Tofte hosted their Annual Open House on December 1 which  included discounts,  holiday food and drink, prizes,  drawings for merchandise, and free gift wrapping.  It was a blustery snowy day; a perfect way to bring in the new season.   We are looking forward to a great winter season and hope that you can join us up here on the shore of Lake Superior in Tofte where you can enjoy all the activities winter has to offer.
